Job Summary:
Sure Secure Solutions is looking for a IT Business Analyst in the Huntsville, AL area and/or Remote.
We are actively seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented IT Business Analyst to support the seamless transfer of IT hardware (compute, mobile, print) and software within our Enterprise IT environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the end-to-end transitions of physical IT assets and software offerings, adhering to configuration and process standards throughout their lifecycle. This position is pivotal in maintaining accurate records of equipment transition states, including inbound, outbound, retired, lost, stolen, and damaged assets, while ensuring precise documentation of asset disposition states and unique identifiers in ServiceNow.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Track and monitor the movement of IT hardware (compute, mobile, print) and software within the Enterprise IT environment.
- Oversee end-to-end transitions, ensuring assets adhere to established configuration and process standards.
- Document transition states, including inbound, outbound, retired, lost, stolen, and damaged, accurately in ServiceNow.
- Ensure that IT assets adhere to defined configuration standards and processes throughout their lifecycle.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement best practices and standards related to asset management.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of IT hardware and software transitions.
- Generate regular reports on asset transition states and provide insights to stakeholders.
- Conduct regular audits and quality checks to validate data accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in asset documentation, ensuring data integrity.
- Collaborate closely with various teams, including IT, procurement, and logistics, to facilitate smooth asset transitions.
- Address inquiries and provide necessary information to stakeholders regarding asset statuses and transitions.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in an IT environment.
- Strong understanding of IT hardware (compute, mobile, print) and software asset management principles.
- Proficiency in using asset management tools, particularly ServiceNow.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) framework is a plus.
